Offline-first sync

Detailed guide

The counter remains usable without a signal while cloud workspaces add off-site continuity and shared visibility.

The device is not a thin client

Faida writes daily shop work to the local workspace first. Checkout, invoicing, inventory movement, purchasing, and reporting continue to operate when the internet is slow or absent.

  • Keep ringing sales during an outage
  • See whether changes are queued, sending, or synchronized
  • Retry safely when the connection returns
  • Preserve the local audit trail while cloud copies catch up

Sync adds reach, not dependency

A Cloud workspace moves eligible changes between the shop and Faida services after local work succeeds. Portal reports, off-site backup, licensing, and device management build on that sync without becoming a prerequisite for the till.

Designed for replacement and recovery

Device activation, seat management, backups, and restore workflows reduce the cost of replacing hardware. The goal is a shop that can recover deliberately instead of starting its records over.
