Mwongozo wa kina

A fast checkout built for real queues, mixed payment habits, and unreliable internet.

Checkout without slowing the queue

Search the catalogue, scan a barcode, or keep both hands on the keyboard. Faida keeps the product list and active cart together so a cashier can change quantities, add a customer, apply an allowed discount, and move straight to payment.

  • Sell stocked products, services, and custom lines
  • See availability before confirming a quantity
  • Calculate tax, discounts, totals, cash received, and change
  • Hold or resume a sale when a customer needs more time

Serve more than one customer at a time

A queue is rarely one sale at a time. Faida keeps several checkouts open side by side, each with its own cart, customer, discount, and payment in progress, so a customer who has forgotten their wallet does not hold up the person behind them. Park a sale under a name and bring it back later, or split and merge parked tickets when a group changes its mind.

Accept the way customers pay

Record cash, card, mobile money, or another configured tender on the same sale. Payment records stay attached to the transaction so end-of-shift review and later reconciliation use the same source of truth.

Show the customer what they are paying for

A second screen faces the customer with the basket, the total, and the change due, so the number is agreed before the money moves rather than after.

The same till runs a dining room

Switch on Restaurant mode and the till gains the service views: dine in, takeaway, or delivery, a table and guest count, and dishes sent to the kitchen from the same screen the money is taken on. See Restaurant service.

Finish with a useful record

Print a receipt, share it digitally, or reopen the sale when a return is needed. Every completed checkout updates the sales history and stock movement records immediately, even while the network is unavailable.

The till writes locally first, so an internet outage never has to become a checkout outage.
