Clear terms for real shop work.

These terms govern the Faida apps, customer portal, website, licences, and optional cloud services provided by AlgoLab.

Effective 4 September 2026

Plain-language summary

Use Faida lawfully, protect your account and backups, and pay for the seats or services you choose. Your business data remains yours. The detailed terms below are the agreement.

1. Agreement and service

By creating an account, downloading, installing, accessing, or using Faida, you agree to these terms and the Privacy Policy. If you act for a business or organisation, “you” includes that organisation and you confirm that you are authorised to bind it. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

Faida provides local-first point-of-sale, inventory, purchasing, invoicing, reporting, staff, and related business tools. Some plans or configurations add portal access, device licensing, synchronisation, backup, restore, online-shop, payment, or other hosted services.

2. Accounts and business authority

You must provide accurate account and organisation information, keep credentials confidential, and promptly update details that change. You are responsible for activity by people and devices your organisation authorises, including their roles and access to business records.

Faida is intended for lawful business use by people able to enter a binding agreement. A workspace owner or authorised administrator is responsible for member access and for requests affecting the whole organisation, including deletion of a company workspace.

3. Licences, plans, payments, and taxes

Subject to these terms and payment of applicable fees, AlgoLab grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the Faida software and services for your internal business operations during the applicable licence or plan term. Seats, devices, cloud features, storage, and other limits are described at purchase or in the portal.

  • Prices, currency, applicable tax, duration, and renewal terms are shown before purchase.
  • You authorise the selected payment provider to process the purchase.
  • Failed, reversed, or disputed payments may delay or suspend paid features.
  • Refunds and cancellations follow the terms shown at purchase and any rights that applicable law does not allow us to exclude.

A licence is for the purchasing organisation and may not be resold, shared between unrelated businesses, sublicensed, or used to bypass device or seat limits. Replacement-device and recovery options depend on the purchased plan.

4. Your business data and backups

You retain ownership of the business data you enter or import. You give AlgoLab permission to host, transmit, copy, process, and display that data only as needed to provide, secure, support, and improve the service you use, comply with your instructions, and meet legal obligations.

You are responsible for having the rights and notices needed to process personal information entered into Faida, for the accuracy and lawfulness of business records, and for keeping appropriate exports or backups. Local data can be lost if a device fails, is reset, or is removed without a usable backup. Cloud backup and restore apply only to supported data and active services; they are not a substitute for every recordkeeping obligation.

5. Acceptable use

You must not:

  • use Faida for unlawful, fraudulent, abusive, or rights-infringing activity;
  • upload malicious code or attempt unauthorised access to accounts, devices, or services;
  • interfere with security, licensing, rate limits, availability, or normal operation;
  • reverse engineer or copy protected parts of Faida except where law expressly permits it;
  • misrepresent your identity, authority, transaction records, or relationship with AlgoLab; or
  • use the service to send unlawful messages or process data you have no right to use.

6. App stores, payment providers, and third-party services

Faida can interoperate with app stores, operating systems, payment providers, printers, email delivery, hosting, and other third-party products. Their own terms and privacy policies govern their services, and their availability or decisions are outside AlgoLab’s control. You are responsible for third-party accounts, equipment, connectivity, and charges you choose to use.

If you obtain Faida through Apple or Google, the applicable store rules also apply. These terms are between you and AlgoLab, not the store operator, except for rights the store’s terms expressly give it.

7. Availability, changes, and updates

The local app is designed to keep supported shop work available through ordinary network interruptions. Features that depend on licensing, cloud sync, payments, online services, or third parties still require connectivity and can be interrupted by maintenance, provider failures, or events outside our reasonable control.

We may release fixes, security updates, feature changes, or new versions and may retire an old version or unsafe integration after reasonable notice where practical. You are responsible for using a supported version and installing important updates. Pre-release features may change and should not be relied on for critical records without independent backups.

8. Suspension, termination, and deletion

You may stop using Faida at any time and may request account deletion through the account deletion page. We may restrict or suspend access when reasonably needed to protect users or the service, respond to unlawful use, enforce unpaid fees, or address a material breach. Where appropriate, we will provide notice and an opportunity to resolve the issue.

When an agreement ends, your licence to paid or hosted features ends. Terms that by their nature should continue—including ownership, payment duties, disclaimers, liability limits, and lawful record retention—survive. Account and data handling after termination follows the Privacy Policy.

9. Warranties and liability

Faida is provided “as is” and “as available” to the extent permitted by law. We do not promise that every feature will be uninterrupted, error-free, or suitable for every tax, accounting, employment, or regulatory requirement. You remain responsible for reviewing business records and obtaining professional advice where needed.

To the extent permitted by law, AlgoLab is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, punitive, or consequential loss, or for lost profit, revenue, goodwill, or data arising from use of Faida. Nothing in these terms excludes liability or consumer rights that law does not permit us to exclude or limit.

10. Changes, severability, and contact

We may update these terms to reflect changes to Faida, providers, or law. The effective date identifies the current version. If a change materially affects existing rights, we will provide an appropriate notice. Continuing to use the service after the updated terms take effect means you accept them.

If one part of these terms is unenforceable, the remaining parts continue. Failure to enforce a term once is not a waiver. You may not transfer this agreement without our consent; AlgoLab may transfer it as part of a merger, reorganisation, or sale of the relevant business.

Questions about these terms can be sent to AlgoLab at support@faida.app.
